Welcome back to the presentations of the Grand Awards for 2021.

We will announce the STA NSW student and teacher nominees to the National BHPFSEA (BHP Foundation Science and Engineering Awards) competition.

These will be followed by the announcement of our Grand Awards in Primary – the Budding Young Scientist (K-2) and Primary Young Scientist (3-6) as well as a new Rural Primary Young Scientist for projects completed by students living in rural or regional areas of NSW. All of these awards are sponsored by Rowe Scientific Pty Ltd.

In 2021, we are pleased to announce a new category of Grand Awards targeting outstanding work in STEM conducted by students in rural and regional areas. The Rural Awards are sponsored by Passionately Curious – our most recent sponsor.

The Rowe Scientific Science Communication award winner will also be our Broadcom representative to the virtual Broadcom Masters competition in May 2022.

Finally we will end with the announcement of the ISEF Finalists for the virtual 2022 Regeneron ISEF (International Science and Engineering Fair) and the Primary Young Scientist of the Year 2021.

And that’s a wrap!
