All winners of the 2019 Young Scientist awards were announced at a grand ceremony at the University of Wollongong on Friday 1st November. 155 individual awards were announced totalling over $28,000 in cash prizes.
Prof. Lisa Harvey-Smith, astrophysicist and Women in STEM Ambassador delivered an inspirational keynote address to a packed lecture theatre.
Romilly Merani from PLC, Sydney was awarded the Budding Young Scientist (K-2), Emma Wood from Castle Cove Public School was awarded the Primary Young Scientist (3-6) and Angelina Arora from Sydney Girls High School is our 2019 Young Scientist of the Year. Congratulations to all award winners!!
